Apollo Bay, early evening.

We are here. All it took was a bus from Crows Nest to North Sydney, a train to the airport, a plane to Melbourne, a bus to Southern Cross Station, a train to South Geelong, and another bus to Apollo Bay. The last few hours along the ocean road were stunning. A taste of what's to come? 

Apollo Bay seems to have everything we need - our lovely apartment, home for the next five nights, a couple of supermarkets, a fish and chip shop, a good selection of restaurants, and a local bakery that opens st 6 where we'll buy our sandwiches for tomorrow's 26+km walk. 

And the ocean. Bliss.
